Dear friends,

I hope you and yours are staying safe and keeping well.

For reasons I’m sure you can understand, Jamele Skincare will not be shipping skincare products while the country is on Level 4 lockdown.

I would have loved to have kept supplying you with skincare and wellbeing products to support your health.

My initial plan was to package products wearing masks and gloves. However, it just didn’t sit quite right. It meant packages would be coming into your bubble from the external world, creating unnecessary opportunities for transmission.

On Wednesday afternoon, we decided the ethical thing to do was to stop shipping products. Keeping our community safe is the highest priority at this time.

The government guidelines around deliveries are clearer now and couriers can only transport packages from essential businesses. Trade Me’s new guidelines give a good sense of the situationfor those of you who are interested.

Many of you stocked up on skincare in the days before lock-down, so I hope you have enough to get you through!

As soon as it is deemed safe again to be sending packages, I will re-open online, email and phone orders.

From My Household to Yours

In the mean-time, I’m sending love and best wishes from my household to yours.

I am grateful to be in a bubble with these loved ones: my endlessly supportive husband Jeff, my youngest son, Jesse and my mother, Pat Foster, who began Jamele Skincare over 30 years ago. She sends her love to you all.
