From my family to yours, I would like to wish you a peaceful and joyful festive season. In what is often a busy and stressful time of year, I hope you can relax and enjoy special moments with friends and family.
A few months ago, my husband Jeff and I, had the great delight of flying to Malaysia to meet our new grand-son. Tobias is a gorgeous wee boy. It was a great trip, though the climate there is far too hot and humid for my liking!
Personally, we will be having a simple Christmas this year as our children are scattered around the world, or with their in-laws. Jeff and I will enjoy a quiet Christmas day at home with my mother, Pat Foster – who sends her love to you all.
I imagine we all know families who are dealing with tragedy this Christmas – Christmas does seem to highlight both loss and love. This year, I am freshly reminded of the things that really matter – relationships, connection and time together.
Wishing you and yours a peaceful, hopeful, joyful, loving Christmas and New Year.
