In May this year, I was delighted to be a wedding guest as gorgeous Jamele therapist, Carmen was married to a truly lovely man, Troy. Carmen deserves the very best and the Jamele team were very happy for her. Soonafter, we were sad, but not surprised, to hear of her plans to move to Wellington with her new husband!
Last week we had our very last ‘cake day’ together as a whole team and showered Carmen with presents and well-wishes.
Carmen has been an absolute joy to work with over these last five years and she will be greatly missed by all of us. She has always been an excellent therapist and succeeded in all post graduate courses. She made full use of her knowledge to help clients get the results that they want, and built warm, lovely connections with her clients in the process.
Carmen, I sincerely hope that all your dreams come true. I know you will be a success in your own new clinic and will quickly develop a lovely clientele. I will enjoy getting updates and look forward to your visits!
Shelley, thank you for being such a great mentor and friend. I am feeling really sad to be leaving but also very excited to be starting a new chapter in my life.
Initially I am going to try and relax and will spend some quality time with my children before they leave home. I am looking forward to joining Troy permanently in Wellington next year. In the meantime we spend our weekends together – alternately in Tauranga and Wellington. It will be good to settle into one city together!
I am currently looking for a location to set up a home-based beauty therapy business part-time in Wellington and will also run an Air B’n’B from this location.
I am grateful for all that I have learnt and grown as a therapist at Jamele Skincare. Thank you to Shelley for sharing with me all your years of knowledge in the industry. You have been such a great mentor and friend. I have loved being a part of this team and will miss everyone.
To my clients, thank you for making my time at Jamele so enjoyable. I’ve loved getting to you know you and we have had so much fun and laughter. Wishing you all the best for the future. Don’t forget to look me up if you are in Wellington!
